Get Nexus One Android 2.1 Port For Motorola Droid

Nexus One, Google’s foray into mobile phones, is yet to launch on January 5th 2010. Nexus One runs on Android 2.1. Even before it’s official launch, it has already been rooted.

Now, a forum member of AllDroid has ported the Nexus One build to Motorola Droid phone. This port includes support for landscape view, landscape apps, gallery, news widget, live wallpapers. Some of the know issues in this Nexus ROM include a glitchy landscape app drawer, opening up the keyboard unlocks the phone/wakes from sleep and some animated wallpapers are found to be not working.
