Search Your Android Phone Using Hand Gestures
Google is always trying to come up with new ways to search, be it their search suggestions, search results filter, SearchWiki, search by voice, Google Squared, Google Goggles, or many more such innovating features. Now they have added a new search feature for Android mobile phone users. A new Google Labs application lets you search with hand gestures, and quickly find what you are looking for.
When you search contacts the normal way, you have to start typing the alphabets, till you find the right one. This is often time consuming. Android users based in US can now draw the text by hand, and their mobile phone will automatically filter results based on the alphabets.
Called Gesture Search, this feature lets you search contacts, installed applications, bookmarks, music tracks, and other data on your phone. Gesture Search works with Android 2.0 and later. You can download Gesture Search from the Android market, find out more about it from it’s Google Labs page.
